then please send me the airport id, the version of fgfs used and the

This is a known issue in fg, things to do with this program... it happens
when you use a .dds texture and the airport spans across multiple tiles.
Workaround is to convert the tiles the affected airport is on to .png,
then it will be shown correctly.

airport in that pic is EDDF... affected are all versions of FG |
From this image it is clear that the photo scene problem concerns the airport area. The fact that it works with PNG files and not with files in DDS format is due to the fact that a different algorithm is adopted in the airport area than that used for non-airport areas. I think the best thing is to open a code fix request to the developer team. I would like to have a corrected PNG image of the same area to better show the problem. |
The issue has already been filed and no solution found so far... but be our guest and try to figure it out... |
