Webman MOD update procedure

Hello,

to have it totally clear I want to ask if I use
older Webman MOD (v1.47.45 along with CFW 4.90 CEX Evilnat)
and will upgrade CFW to 4.91 CEX Evilnat and also want to use newer/recent version of Webman MOD from Brewology (currently v1.47.47h),
do I have to do one of them:

o Use the Updater from v1.47.45 to get the recent version v1.47.47h with all bells and whistles in a convenient way
o Do I have to uninstall it within the current Webman MOD menu and download the recent one and install it again?
o Do I don't have to uninstall it and write over with the recent one?

Thank you for your message. It's as simple as go to webMAN Games > webMAN Setup > Update webMAN MOD, download & install the latest version (both steps are done with a single click). Then restart the console.

Alternatively you can download the full installer from brewology or github, copy the PKG to a pendrive FAT32, install the PKG using Package Manager. After the package installation execute the webMAN MOD installer application. It will reboot the console after complete.

You can perform the installtion of CFW Evilnat 4.91.2 BETA 15 before or after the update of webMAN MOD. Only 4.90 had issues that required to upgrade webMAN before upgrade the firmware, but that's solved in 4.91 and latest webMAN MOD.

Ah see there WAS something with 4.90 I remember vaguely... but now fixed, awesome.
And I'm already on CFW Evilnat 4.92.2 BETA 14 :D

Fine I tried the Updater in my current Webman MOD (1.47.45), it says it has to download additional software and if I confirm there's a download error (80710A06). Could be because I use the stuff in German language? shrug

So I went for the full installer method w/o touching the old Webman MOD install:
Dl & install PKG -> run Installer (hold L1) -> Reboot and it works so far.

The error 80710A06 is due obsolete SSL certificates in the default VSH DEX. That issue was fixed in BETA 15.

Switching the XMB mode in CFW Tools to VSH CEX should fix the issue too on BETA 14, but I think that the CEX2DEX menu is only available on PEX and D-PEX editions.
