Parse failed: template

Hello,
I followed your instructions provided there:
https://digital-garden-hugo-theme.vercel.app/articles/installation/

but when i run npm run dev i get this error:

> digital-garden-theme@1.1.0 dev
> hugo serve

Error: add site dependencies: load resources: loading templates: "/home/tadas/hugo/intranet/themes/digitalgarden/layouts/_default/_markup/render-link.html:1:1": parse failed: template: _default/_markup/render-link.html:1: unclosed action

How could i solve this?

@bithost I was able to solve this problem by removing Hugo site, re-initializing hugo site and enabling this theme as git submodule. Also I run the site in Docker with https://github.com/floryn90/docker-hugo and everything parses good.
