Hello there!
I've found some old commits relates to the 6577 clocks: torvalds@9eaeeba
How is that working?
What do you think, which of the existing 6577 drivers, lines of the DTS can be reused for the 6589?
Do you have any experience with the mainline MT6589 codebase?
As I saw, this was done some years ago, which relates to the https://gitlab.com/mt6589-mainline/linux repo.
Using the old very much Mediatek styled kernel is just no longer pays off.
Would you like to join and port this device to mainline Linux kernel?
I'm collection useful information for some weeks now and trying to reach a point where a small sized kernel image can be build and booted.
My personal repo can be found here: https://gitlab.com/vinibali/linux/-/tree/vowney-v5/
