If I try to run include("listmodel-fromjulia.jl") it immediately returns to the prompt.

I was not sure if I should have started a new issue for this or not.

I wonder whether it's really "not working"? That script opens a new Julia REPL, as well as a window with several sliders.

If you run the script in a Julia REPL with include("listmodel-fromjulia.jl"), it opens a new REPL as a sub-process, and displays the window. You should find that you need to "close" the REPL twice after you try this.

Sorry you are correct it runs, but it is just a flicker of an empty box. It does not appear to open a second REPL.

There is an issue with listmodel-fromjulia.jl I do not understand. The mime type is coming up text/x-qml. Could this be causing the problem?

That wouldn't normally be a problem. You are running the script using Julia (either inside the REPL, or from the command line), the MIME type is not important in that context. When I run the script in either of those ways, I get the usual Julia banner, plus a Qt window.

I tried this on another computer with a different distro and got the same results a quick flicker and then it is gone.
