Tasks.org compatility was introduced: https://twitter.com/davx5app/status/1307679885905858565 . And it is said still here: https://www.davx5.com/faq/tasks/advanced-task-features I gave davx task permission and installed tasks.org and does not show my tasklist. I tried activating the integration https://tasks.org/docs/davx5.html . But I noticed this option isn't there anymore. Also clicked on updating/syncing on both apps. So was support for tasks.org deactived? That would be said because opentasks does not support sub todos. |

I use DAVx5 with Tasks.org myself... can you provide steps to reproduce please (from installing the apps)? |

@rfc2822 Nothing special, installed davx5 and synced it with a calendar-task-list from my nextcloud and using calendar with this for a time. Tried now opentasks and gave davx permissions for todo/task on android. Worked i could use opentasks but it lacks important features like subtasks which help organize the tasks. Wanted to try tasks.org but didn't work. On tasks.org app aren't much options to set for davx. It shows a tutorial site when click on davx in options. I couldn't find the "integration"-setting in davx which was supposed to be there accordings to the tutorial (also linked above). See also the twitter-link for the image to see what i mean. Don't know what to do and thought that maybe support was dropped? |

When apps use the VTODO or VJOURNAL standard they would theoretically be compatible, but DAVx5 needs to be adapted as well so that it can sync with the provided storage then. |

@devvv4ever Ah, good to know. So in other words the three apps opentasks, tasks.org and jtx-board are really the only one todo-apps that work with davx at the moment (and there couldn't be any other apps out there we are not knowing that would be compatible), correct? |

@rfc2822 Or in other words: Is it for me reasonable for me to search for further apps (not opentasks, tasks.org, jtx-board), e.g. acalendar task-function, or other apps to work with davx? Or is this nonsense because i won't find such? Just to understand correctly :). |

As far as I know, aCalendar Tasks can use the OpenTasks backend. So DAVx⁵ synchronizes with the OpenTasks backend, and aCalendar Tasks can provide another UI for it (apart from the own OpenTasks UI). See also the image on https://www.davx5.com/faq/system-integration for more information. |
