Webhook options for all the bots!

I'm looking to add a makerspace bot on slack, and being able to hook into the events (tool checked-out, tool returned), would allow for the bot to alert the owners on slack.

@mrmakeit could we alternatively use MQTT as the bot will be on the same network/machine?

MQTT leaves some security questions, as limiting access will be tricky. It also seems like a strange choice for an app such as this. I'm not against it, but it would be an interesting challenge at least.
