understand universe of what this may include? e.g. generation asset, transmission line, ISO market
not always clear what {id} would reference without examples

Feedback from @Henry-WattTime:

Yes, this may include all of those things, it's intended to be flexible and accommodate all levels of a grid.
We need to define early (actually excludes transmission?)
