The resulting boot usb drive would not work for me on my computer that would only allow boot from uefi. It failed to read the MBR style partitions. Anyone have any luck booting through uefi?

Hi there! Sorry that this does not work with UEFI. I'm only vaguely familiar with UEFI so I would suggest looking for a BIOS option that might allow the old fashioned stuff. For example if you have secure boot enabled this might force UEFI, but if you disable secure boot you might get MBR to work.
