Hackathon Planning - Analysis Results Standards

Adding tentative schedule for the Hackathon here. We can use this discussion thread on this topic.

The dates below were worked out by Charles on our COSA call. We can use this as a reference for now and edit as we make progress on the model and APIs.

Tentative Dates:

• 3 April: SwaggerSpec

• 17 April: start API

• 12 June: API Complete (8 weeks)

• 19 June: Hackathon (4 weeks)

• 31 July: Public Review starts (8 weeks)

• 09 October: Publication

• 16 October: Week of US Interchange

• Public Webinar (Date TBD) to educate people on the model before hackathon

• If done in advance, it can be recorded and accessed for hackathon

• Then kick off hackathon

• Mid-Sep to Mid-Oct: Hackathon Feedback Resolutions

Hackathon goals:

Objective: Is the industry able to operationalize Analysis Results Standards?

• Start using model and how to create metadata
• give them sample datasets (cdisc pilot sdtm, adam, sap)
• give them mockup shells
• When model is released there will be a lot of examples

Possible endpoints:

• create metadata spec for specific examples (JSON): this could be exported out from the CDISC library
• Ingest metadata spec to create analysis results using SAS or R [plug the results into the JSON metadata spec which is what we call as Analysis Results Data]
• Use the analysis results [e.g. ARD in JSON format] to generate the display [e.g. RTF, PDF]
• focused problem and see what creative specs and ingestion of the specs/processing of the specs and results they come up with
