<h2>Le projet LNSTC / SDLC</h2>
<div align="JUSTIFY">Le projet de <i>Librairie numérique syrienne des textes cunéiformes</i> (LNSTC = SDLC en anglais) est le fruit
du travail conjoint d’une équipe de chercheurs syriens et internationaux, qui œuvre à la mise
en place d’une présentation web interactive en arabe, en anglais et en français, de ce qui a pu
être sauvegardé en Syrie d’une tradition cunéiforme locale remontant jusqu’aux origines mêmes de
l’histoire de l’écriture, il y a plus de cinq mille ans.<br><br>
Les collections de tablettes en écriture cunéiforme conservées
principalement dans les musées de Damas, Alep, Deir ez-Zor, Raqqa et
Idlib, proviennent de près de quarante sites archéologiques différents. À l’issue d’un catalogage intégral,
celles qui ont fait l’objet d’une première publication scientifique vont bénéficier d’une édition électronique, avec images
numérisées et translittérations, sur le site web dédié de la LNSTC. Celui-ci est directement relié au projet international
<a href="https://cdli.ucla.edu/"> CDLI</a>,
dont les puissants outils d’indexation pourront être mis à contribution pour effectuer des recherches sur l’ensemble de ces documents.<br><br>
Ce site web, en accès libre intégral, est destiné à faciliter la mise en place de nouveaux moyens de communication scientifique entre les membres d’une communauté internationale dont l’intérêt va grandissant pour les
contributions de la Syrie ancienne à la culture moderne.<br></div>
