ADD ISSUE DESCRIPTION HERE

i.e hover over file menu option will show all other options instead of allowing me to tap (click) it. This is uncomfortable specially in landscape mode. If this is expected functionality, kindly consider for a change if possible.

Does this happen with vscode.dev or Codespaces? This might be an upstream issue.

Is this what you mean?

App: v1.0.8
VScode Engine: v1.95.3
Version Code: 17266474
Update Date: 2024-11-21T21:21:09.428Z

it's Vscode for android.
BTW view 2 sometimes crashes, however issue happens on both.

Issue might also be stated as a hover in/hover out opportunity for improvement.

On this 25second video you con see at the very beginning where the pointer shows just for a quick notice.

  1. sub menu is too large and covers com pletely top menu.
  2. only by hovering on the very edge of top menu can you close sub menu.

HTH

Oh wow yeah that is pretty bad. It sounds like this might be the wrong repo though? code-server is VS Code in the browser, this looks like a different project that uses VS Code? But, it seems likely the issue will need to be fixed upstream in VS Code itself (https://github.com/microsoft/vscode).

The help > report issue option from the app menu was used, which is another issue.

Ohh interesting, I did not realize that option existed. We should patch the issue option from the menu to include the code-server version and commit.
