let the user move the work-windows or make them smaller or bigger

Is there any chance you can change the interface in order to let the user move the work-windows or make them smaller or bigger? For example: working on the texts I would like to have the window “Text details” in the center of the page rather than on the right (see image below). I would also like to enlarge it, not only to extend it (in vertical). On that side of the page it seems very user-unfriendly to me.
