What happened?

There does not appear to be any documentation on environment variables that conda can use. While the majority of environment variables can be constructed from the configuration documentation (e.g., safety_checks becomes CONDA_SAFETY_CHECKS), this is not mentioned anywhere and is not easily findable either.
