Hi,
We have developed Statsd implementation of MetricReporter to track our schema registry metrics. Is it worth to include to common-metrics project ?? If it is, I can create a Pull Requests...

@rajim17 That sounds great! I think it will probably make sense to keep it in a separate subproject from common-metrics just for organizational and dependency purposes. But I think we could include it in this repository, maybe under a metrics-statsd directory. It'd be great to have a statsd reporter that works with all the Confluent Platform services!

Ok. Thanks. Let me create a separate project under metrics-statsd...Will send a PR soon.
