For people that are wondering the same: I've tested it myself and as long as you have a paid Apple Developer account to support the "Near Field Communication Tag Reading" and "Time Sensitive Notifications" capabilities, you can build and deploy the app yourself. Just sign the app with your own Apple Developer account, put the phone in developer mode and deploy to the phone. |

Hi,
Is it possible to sign the app yourself and then deploy it directly to a connected iPhone?
I tried to do this with a free Apple Developer account, but because of the use of the "Near Field Communication Tag Reading" and "Time Sensitive Notifications" capabilities you are required to sign the app with an full (paid) Apple Developer account.
Does anyone have experience with signing the app with your own Apple Developer account and then deploying it directly? Are there any caveats to consider?
Reason I ask is because the TestFlight is full, while we still really want to use the app. But before we pull the trigger on buying an Apple Developer license, I want to get some experience from the user group.
