What is planned for the next minor update? 📝
It's almost that time again, the next minor update is being planned and will bring some new features with it! 📥
I would like to achieve more stability in the future so that there are fewer problems. 🛡
In addition, some paths will change and be adapted to the Linux system environment! 🐧
For example, the following things are implemented:
-
Auto-Update function (cronjob)
-
Create a new folder for all personal files to "/$HOME/.config/..."
-
...
So stay tuned and see you soon! 👋
Joined the Fusion 360 Insider program! ⚗️🔭🔬
I have now also joined the Autodesk Fusion 360 Insider program! ✅
Graphic was created by www.autodesk.com
This makes it easier for me to plan upcoming changes and innovations in the future. 🪞
Also, it makes it easier for me to test the different applications on Linux. 🐧
If any of you are interested in this insider program, you can register here: https://feedback.autodesk.com/key/Fusion360Insider
And also a small update of Autodesk Fusion 360 has been published: V.2.0.12376
Autodesk Fusion 360 coming soon with voice control! 🎤
Enable voice control: How to use Autodesk Fusion 360 in the future using your language!
Many of you may have used the voice racists Alexa, Siri or the Google Assistant before. But did you know that there are other systems that you can use to control Autodesk Fusion 360, for example?
The answer is: Yes!
Of course there have been a few attempts in the past, but I found a better solution for myself, not only to make it easier for me to work with the program, but also to help people in the world who may only have one hand to operate Autodesk Fusion 360.
Have I piqued your interest?
If YES, then watch this video*!
*Planned for: 07.02.2022 | 21:00 (German time)
Minor Update & Control Point Spline tool works correctly now! ✅
A small update of Autodesk Fusion 360 has been released again! Namely, version V.2.0.12157 has been upgraded to V.2.0.12164! 📦
Furthermore, Wine Stable was released in version 7.0.1 and other improvements were also added that make Autodesk Fusion 360 run even better on Linux. 🍷
For example, the DirectX support has been revised and much more, which, for example, softened the fact that when the DXVK option was selected when installing Autodesk Fusion 360 using my setup wizard, significant performance improvements could be noticed! 📈
In addition, the start of the program does not take that long. 🚀
Below for all those who have had problems with the Control Point Spline tool, I can only say that it works wonderfully now! 📏 📐
*It was tested with DXVK.

There are more extensions available! 🛍
I have tested other extensions and integrated them into my setup wizard so that you can also select them during the Autodesk Fusion 360 installation. ✅
What extensions have been added?
Of course there are other extensions that I will test in the future and if they work, I will let you know! 💡
Here you can see that the "Helical Gear Generator" extension also works on Linux:

New New translations for Autodesk Fusion 360 in planning! 🚧
Happy New Year to everyone who has supported me so far and helped me with my project. Thank you very much! 🥂🥗🍻🎆🥘
The next step is being planned and we need your help! 😇
For this year, for example, I plan to translate Autodesk Fusion 360 into other languages.
Among other things, that would be Russian and Swedish.
But other languages may also follow so that people in the world can get the best out of their work in their national language!
So stay tuned and if you want to help, you will find the links below:
