Accessing palette colors manually

How do I use a color from the palette manually? For instance, the example given in the vimjoyer video

wayland.windowManager.hyprland.settings.general.”col.active_border” =
  lib.mkForce “rgb(${config.stylix.base16Scheme.base0E})“;

errors with: value is a string with context while a set was expected.

I am using it as a NixOS module. In configuration.nix I have:
