##Problem statement
Currently the ontology can share a certification in terms of the certifying body as a product facet. I think we may need to consider a license number (I'm thinking this is a legal requirement for organic produce - to preserve traceability). It might make most sense to have this on the Supplier Enterprise though,

Increasingly Regenerative certifications for Producers are using quantative scoring (e.g. RegenScore, Global Farm Metric). It would probably be worth having a property to support holding that score.

Describe the solution you'd like

The ability to assign Organic (or other) certification details (id, link to pdf)

Describe alternatives you've considered

AgroVOC (FAO ontology) has Certification classes, including Organic Cert (& Product Cert. Could we SKOS:EXACT_MATCH to those ?

Additional context

An organic producer (or shop) has an organic certificate (it used to literally be a piece of paper, some ppl put them on the wall). It included various information about the holding (the farm, or part of the farm that was being certified as Organic).
For example, here in the UK, Organic farms MUST be inspected every year to ensure they are complying with all organic regulations*, they are given a licence number which is required to be passed on with any goods that are sent within the organic supply chain (that is B2B sales) to ensure traceability. Here is the UK Organic standards for food & drink.

The Soil Association has an online lookup function, if you put "North Aston" (my old farm) in, you'll see the information I'm referring to.

There's also an international portal (which doesn't include France, sorry 🥴 ), which shows the "Operator Id" & a pdf of the certificate. See this example of a UK Organic Potato supplier.

    • it can get complicated - I remember the dairy being told once they had to write a letter to their supplier of bottle caps demanding they stop using plastic & source natural rubber seals for the caps :face_with_rolling_eyes: That letter (& the response) was required to be produced at inspection time to confirm we had made all reasonable efforts to source organic/natural materials from our supply chain.
