In #1271 and #1272, I'm introducing some checks in Mistral and Langfuse to make the components compatible with both Haystack <2.9.0 and Haystack >=2.9.0. These changes are necessary due to the refactoring of OpenAIChatGenerator in deepset-ai/haystack#8666.

After the 2.9.0 release, we should:

  • in each affected integration, pin haystack-ai>=2.9.0
  • remove compatibility checks
  • release new version of each integration - if appropriate
