Bring endnotes up to date and incorporate them as footnotes in the main text rather than as endnotes located after the text, to preserve context and flow.

Changing endnotes to footnotes could be done immediately via nofootinbib, but as the main text has a higher standard for narrative quality and conceptual rigor, doing so without evaluation and editing may lead to an incongruous presentation.
