Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

I searched around and found no mention of handling age restricted videos and was hoping there could be a solution to implement them for YouTube videos or if there's an easy way and I neglected it, to at least append to to FAQ.

Describe the solution you'd like

I was wondering how possible it would be to import cookies from YouTube to serve as that authorization to stream the video. I know many YouTube downloaders used to offer a way to add in a cookie to do just that.

Unfortunately, this is not possible with the youtube iframe player. Youtube just doesn't let you embed a video if it's age restricted.

The only way to fix this is to stop using the youtube iframe player.

Thanks for the heads up, I saw something similiar with W2G. My only other idea is a way to pass that information into a streamable mp4 like with ffmpeg but as far as I know, that's not possible in html only and that's something the user would have to host and implement.
