automatically clear cache or prune old msgs not on server

Why would you like to do it?

if i want to use a server with 48 hour retention its all saved on mobile and i have to clear the cache manually often for it to make sense as a signal alternative

How would you like to achieve it?

have an option to automatically clear cache every X amount of days or remove stuff older than X amount of days
