cant verify password & recovery key isnt working

somehow my pc isnt powerful enough to verify my password, so i tried using the recovery key.
i literally have the key downloaded and copy pasted it and even typed it exactly, but it still says its incorrect key. and it seems like this is the only place to ask for help, im using ente-auth 4.1.6-1 on the AUR (using arch btw)

ive searched other posts and it seems to be a common issue with arch/arch based distros? i will try using ente-auth-bin because it worked for someone else

ok ente-auth-bin works fine and there is no issue with logging in
