I noticed that when monitoring my external NVMe disk, the temperature displayed by Stats is incorrect. Stats currently uses the Temperature field from SMART data, but the correct temperature for my disk is under Temperature Sensor 2.
It would be great if Stats could provide an option to manually select the temperature sensor field (e.g., Temperature, Temperature Sensor 1, Temperature Sensor 2, etc.) for disk monitoring. This would improve compatibility with various devices.
For reference, here's an example of the SMART data from my disk:
SMART/Health Information (NVMe Log 0x02)
Critical Warning: 0x00
Temperature: 50 Celsius
Available Spare: 100%
Available Spare Threshold: 1%
Percentage Used: 0%
Data Units Read: 1,623,199 [831 GB]
Data Units Written: 1,350,031 [691 GB]
Host Read Commands: 11,531,195
Host Write Commands: 6,513,049
Controller Busy Time: 18
Power Cycles: 18
Power On Hours: 68
Unsafe Shutdowns: 3
Media and Data Integrity Errors: 0
Error Information Log Entries: 0
Warning Comp. Temperature Time: 0
Critical Comp. Temperature Time: 0
Temperature Sensor 1: 50 Celsius
Temperature Sensor 2: 48 Celsius
