Half Life: Alyx support please?

alyx runs like dogshit for me, it's the only VR game i have that runs this bad, i can run bonelab on maximum settings, so this game really shouldn't be this bad, But this mod has shown dramatic performance improvements on anything i use it on and i would LOVE to be able to experience HL alyx with a good framerate, so is there any chance you could see about getting it working with alyx?

I know this issue is more than a year old but for others coming by I believe this should still work fine
