Guys,I've had a little problem that was I needed a Vm on my hackintosh and it kept telling me I needed to activate virtualization, so I searched a bit and tried it out, everything looks the same and now my VM is working well. So, my question is, do we really need to disable those things in BIOS, and why?

Not needed. It can disable via config.plist - boot args.

disabling is not needed. it's cargo cult that people just repeat. it was needed for some time back inthe day. but nowadays you should keep it enabled

@kybernetyk I got a hack running on Z77 motherboard from 2012. how far does the cargo reach into the past?
