white rectangle tray icon in gnome?

What shell extension are you using ? Gnome doesn't have tray icons per default.

@KuSh I am using Dash to Panel with AppIndicator and KStatusNotifierItem Support.
I have also installed Oracle JDK 18 on my system. I am using Debian 11 Gnome.

I have a similar problem in linux mint cinnamon, but it is a completely black square.

I have same problem on Linux Mint 21 Cinnamon. There is this issue on JDownloader forum.

I've just tried Dash to Panel and I'm not able to reproduce. @tazihad do you still have the problem ?
The problem in Cinnamon seems to be a completely different problem even if the result is similar, it also seems to not be linked to the flatpacking of jdownloader as native has the same problem
