Describe the bug

With the changes in #307, we are seeing a horizontal overflow issue on Webkit and Chromium browsers only (Firefox is fine) when scrolling to the right of the UIO panel.

To reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Load the website in Safari, Chrome, or Edge.
  2. Expand the UIO panel.
  3. Scroll all the way to the right using mouse or trackpad.
  4. See white space to the right of the page area.

Expected behavior

There shouldn't be an overflow.
