How to get started?

Hello, I am trying to use stack-graphs on a Java repository, but cannot understand how to get started. I installed tree-sitter-stack-graphs and tree-sitter-stack-graphs-java but I am not able to run any command. Is there a guide about how to generate an index and use it?

We recently added instructions to the READMEs to help getting started. See https://github.com/github/stack-graphs/tree/main/languages/tree-sitter-stack-graphs-java#using-the-command-line-program for the Java specific crate. Perhaps this helps?

the index command does not seem to be supported anymore. It is still supported by tree-sitter-stack-graphs, but I am not sure how I can use that to for example index a java project.

Perhaps this was due to the build/install problems we had? This new release fixes those and does include an index command: https://github.com/github/stack-graphs/releases/tag/tree-sitter-stack-graphs-java-v0.3.0
