Open Commit on Gitlab link invalid

When I hover a code line and click the button "Open Commit on Gitlab", it goes to a link like "https://gitlab.xxx.com/master/frontend/xxx/-/commit/xxx" which is not a valid link for my repo, I need to remove "-/" or "/-" everytime to make it a valid commit url.

I wonder why it works as this and I find some related code which seems for resolving gitlab commit url.

It is exactly different from other providers, is it designed like this indeed? Then what should I do to use it more efficient?
