Investigate RPC tracking memory leak

Sometimes, our RPC redirect mechanism doesn't pick up URLs (they aren't redirected to the fork). This is followed by an error indicating that the redirect rule we specified outgrew 2KB (which is an awful lot for URLs).

More investigation needs to happen into this topic. A couple of async places in our tracking code could potentially never resolve and thus cause issues.
