Tested versions

  • Reproducible in: 4.0.stable, 4.2.stable, 4.3.stable, 4.4.beta1

System information

Godot v4.4.dev (24d7451) - Fedora Linux 41 (KDE Plasma) on X11 - X11 display driver, Multi-window, 1 monitor - Vulkan (Forward+) - dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 (nvidia; 565.77) - 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900K (32 threads)

Issue description

It's not possible to pan on the visual shader editor while the mouse cursor is on a node preview:

visual_shader_pan.mp4

It should logically be possible as the preview can't be interacted with in any way.

Steps to reproduce

  • Create a visual shader with a node like ColorFunc and enable its preview by clicking on the eye icon.
  • Try to pan with the middle mouse button or Space + left mouse button outside the preview.
  • Try to do the same, but with the mouse movement starting inside the preview.

Minimal reproduction project (MRP)

Should you be able to pan while mouse is over any control (like OptionButton) or just previews?
