mechvibes prevents sleep

The battery drain issue on mac is bad, and while searching around, in the activity monitor, i found that mechvibes is preventing sleep in macos, im currently on Sonoma 14.6.1

could this be the reason that my battery drains so quickly

I'm also on Sonoma 14.6.1 and cannot replicate this.
