Version 1.0.2
Added Simplified Chinese translations (thanks @YaoSiQian !)
Version 1.1.0 Alpha 1
Initial release for 1.1.0! A simple port of release Version 1.0.1 to 1.18.2.
Version 1.0.1
- Fixed a long-standing bug where chests would "close" after being opened.
Version 1.0.0
It's finally here; ImmersiveMC 1.0.0! It's sure to come with launch bugs, but here we are!
Want to know how to play, check the wiki!
Here's what changed since Beta 3:
- Crafting tables, the bag, enchanting tables, anvils, and smithing tables now all store items server-side, so items are removed from your inventory and placed when using these!
- LOTS of bugfixes, including several crashes such as #84
Version 1.0.0 Beta 3
This will (hopefully) be the last version before Release 1.0.0!
New Features:
- Aqua-colored mostly-transparent boxes are shown where you can place items to guide players who are starting out. This can be disabled in the ImmersiveMC settings.
- You can now enable a setting that automatically clears a crafting table when you craft an unstackable item.
- All settings in the ImmersiveMC config now have a tooltip that describes what they do.
- You can now customize ImmersiveMC without being on the title screen! It can be opened by default with the
,
key.
Fixes:
- Thrown items no longer immediately show particles when thrown.
- The backpack now clears like the crafting table does when you can no longer craft an item.
Version 1.0.0 Beta 2
New Features:
- Added a lower-detailed backpack for those who want a more simplistic model that fits more with Minecraft's aesthetics.
- Extended the repeater immersive hitboxes to cover the entire repeater. This way, the torches of the repeater can be adjusted from the side.
- Adjusted the cooldown of the crafting table immersive in VR to not be so unbearably slow.
- Added a sound effect when crafting from a crafting table and the item isn't spawned on the ground due to stacking.
- Crafting tables, enchanting tables, anvils, and smithing tables "forget" their contents if they go unused for a while.
Bug Fixes:
- Removed the mostly unused Ender Chest Immersive toggle. Use the regular chest's immersive toggle to control Ender Chests.
- Fixed a bug where the outputs of a crafting table would be remembered even after the inputs were cleared.
- Fixed a crash where breaking an anvil quickly after placing an item in it would crash the game (thanks @Kaleidio!).
A big thanks to HackedMixedReality for running this mod on stream and finding a bunch of things for me to fix/add!
Version 1.0.0 Beta 1.1
- Fixed a bug where backpack crafting wouldn't work in survival if items had a stack size larger than 1.
Version 1.0.0 Beta 1
- Fixed a regression where the jukebox immersive wouldn't work
- Fixed some crashing when rendering items
- Fixed a bug with auto-centering furnaces
- Made some better behavior for auto-centering furnaces
- Added crafting for the backpack
Version 1.0.0 Alpha 4
The last alpha release! The next release should be Beta 1.
Changes since alpha 3:
New Features:
- A config accessible from Title Screen --> Mods --> ImmersiveMC --> Config that allows customizing everything to do with ImmersiveMC.
- VR users can now physically open/close chests, and non-VR users can now use the chest immersive (optionally)
- The crafting immersive now shows the result above the table, which can be right-clicked out of VR and grab with trigger held in VR,
- Ender chest immersive support
- Repeater immersion support (VR only)
- Alternate modes for furnace and brewing stand
Improvements/Minor Features/Bug Fixes:
- The bag now supports the lower two layers of items,
- Fixed the bugginess with the chest immersive
- The server now respects the client disabling button/lever/campfire/ranged grab settings
- Don't set positions/hitboxes when we don't need to in a lot of cases, hopefully helping a bit with client-side performance.
NOTE: The 1.16.1 version does not have the chest patch!
Version 1.0.0 Alpha 3
New Features:
- A config for all new and old ImmersiveMC features.
- Servers with ImmersiveMC no longer require users to have ImmersiveMC to connect.
- Buttons can now be physically pushed!
- Added immersive support for the anvil and for the smithing table.
- Added immersive support for the enchanting table.
- You can now hold items above a lit campfire to cook them! It takes half the time it would usually take.
- Levers can now be physically pulled!
- Added an inventory bag! This allows VR users to manage their inventory without opening the physical GUI! It's not fully developed yet, but it's a bare minimum that players should hopefully find very useful!
Notes:
- ImmersiveMC now requires MC VR API version 1.4.0. It might work on 1.3.0, but I make no guarantees!
