Hi there! Welcome to Matt's homepage. I am a full-time MComp candidate at National University of Singapore. I obtained my bachelor's degree of science in statistics at Sun Yat-sen University in Jun 2022, where I developed myself to be self-motivated, critical-thinking and analytically sensitive with comprehensive skills in programming including Python, R, SQL and MATLAB.
I finished my last internship working as a data science intern at China Digital Team, Mars Wrigley in Guangzhou in June, 2022. The main project I worked on is building time series models, such as LSTM, ARIMA, to predict Mars Wrigley sales for chocolate, gum, mint, etc. Besides, I am devoted to connecting the PostgreSQL database and cloud drive to implement database review. This precious experience helped me catch a glimpse of the mathematical and statistical applications in the consumer goods industry, and inspired me to have more passionate in DS and ML field. I am also enthusiastic about time series model and its related quantitative field.
