In order to meet the requirements of the researchers using the fishtracking data, following features would be beneficial to showcase, for which we agreed on using the jupyter notebook as working environment:

  • visualization of a set of X/Y coordinates (either direct records or aggregated coordinates in graphs) on a (leaflet) map; additional possibilities:
    • A set of options on the variable to show and how (eg. size markers in function of variable)
    • An additional plot that provides information about the waterdepth
    • Usage of interactive slider/selector applied on an available variabel in de data set
  • Check how the interact function available for python could also be applied within the R-kernel
