Since this repo doesn't currently have an open source license and there was code by others that didn't have a license either merged into it this repo it currently has some problems from a legal perspective (everyone who added code is still the copyright holder of that for example). Since I'm not a lawyer I don't know if this causes more issues than that and if there are ways to legally add a license now (I assume every contributor would have to agree on that, otherwise their contributions would have to be removed. But again, I'm not a lawyer).
