Hi,
I'm very new to P3 but I like what I see ....
I'm wondering how the abbreviation list works?
Normally when you type for example "dvch" in the Progress editor it is replaced by "define variable as character no-undo" but that does not happen on my system.
Is this normal on default install op 3P or do I need to make some setting to make this work?
Regards
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
abbreviations as defined by openedge, which is a short name for a complete keyword (for instance DEF is the short version of DEFINE)
snippets as defined in the procedure editor, which are a list of shortcuts you can type to autocomplete into a single keyword or a full statement (e.g. dvch)
The first case is implemented, the latter is not.
However, this has been on my TODO list for quite a while and I think I will priotitize this for the next big update.
