hashdeep fails to compile on macOS when running on Apple Silicon / arm64. Logs are below.
This is because the version of config.guess included in the repo doesn't expect a combination of darwin and arm64. Updating to a more recent version that includes this patch fixes the problem and in my limited testing the resulting binary appears to function correctly.
