"Fix visualization by config file to get similar/same view and don't need to do a lot of settings"
--> this highly relates to the state saving currently implemented by DV

For clarification about this issue I have a question:
The current session mechanism will store all projection related properties like color scale, positions etc

Is additionally some metadata format needed that can be supplied in the sdf file which "preselects" certain values, for example the projected columns?

first of all sdf files are used in CIME but not Reaction CIME. for Reaction CIME, we use csv files.
in the sdf file there is no metadata regarding preselects. this is added by the backend.
also the csv file (Reaction CIME) has no meta data by default. it get's uploaded to the backend, which then adds the meta data before returning it to the PSE

Discussed with Christina,
probably same concept as session
discuss further with Michael how this can be moved to PSE to enable it in reaction-cime

preconfigured small multiples for comparing iterations (also related to diff encodings between iterations).
