I like the completeness and organization you have done with this module compared to the other Zabbix modules available. I'm going to try my hand at adding some functionality to support RedHat / CentOS package using the http://repo.zabbixzone.com/ repository (including a switch for installing the repository). Is this a pull request you would be interested if I get this working?

Absolutely! I'm aiming for puppet 2.6, 2.7 and 3.x compatibility and the least possible amount of external module dependencies. Personally I would declare the repository outside of the module, but by providing a switch (and possibly a parameter to set the relevant repo details) it might be fine as it would allow you to control that behavior. FYI I'm using the packages from the ubuntu distro repo and from the official zabbix repo at http://repo.zabbix.com/
