csquotes lowercases all language names in
\csq@lang
etc. with the rationale "workaround for page headers of book.cls et al." (see comment incsquotes.sty
). This results in language names that have uppercase letters (UKenglish
andUSenglish
) not being detected (the lowercase variants, ukenglish and usenglish, are unknown to babel).I think this is not a big issue, since people can use
british
andamerican
