Your example is quite useful and motivating for Spring Developers to try out akka.
Currently very rare information is available in terms of a working source code for Integration between Spring & Akka. Your is very useful example but it makes the use of
Scala code.
Can you add the Latest Akka Java API version of Actors in the project instead of Scala Code ?
It may not be the difficult task for you and may take several hours but for Akka newbies with Java background will have a tremendous help from this project.
The slide attached in this project deserves to get more readers in different Akka forums, it is an excellent piece of akka tutorial !
