I just found this app after doing some google searching for something different from Vox, which is what I used in the past. Vox was fine, but their requirement that you run background daemons so they can try to upsell you on their cloud subscription is such a turn off. I deleted that crap and searched, and thank goodness I found this. This app is perfect! Open source, made by someone passionate, with tons of ability to customize the look and feel. Exactly what I was looking for. I would love to donate $$ to this project, I didn't see a way to donate on the repo readmes. Anyways, I wanted to come here to say "Thank you ever so much!" to @kartik-venugopal and the other people who helped make this app. I love it! |

Overview
This is a "preview" release of v4.0.0. While most core features (carried over from v3) do work, some do not, some planned (new) features are missing (Library / Tune Browser), there are some bugs, and the app may occasionally crash unpredictably.
Generally, the app is usable and stable, and is intended to give the user a taste of v4.
Notes
(Issues) Please do not file issues in response to this app release, as they will likely get fixed in the first actual release. 😄
(App settings) - An app setup wizard will launch upon startup, and if you have used v3 before, most of your settings will be migrated over (some will be lost, as they are now irrelevant). This means that once you launch v4, you cannot retain your old settings if you go back to v3, unless you store a copy of your ~/Music/aural folder before you launch v4.**
(v3) - The latest v3 releases continue to be available.
