Currently the cabal install of hpc-coveralls takes a very long time on Travis-CI. If a pre-compiled release were made available with apt-get, this would likely be MUCH faster.

This means to release it as a debian package?
It would speed up builds that use hpc-coveralls indeed. @EarthCitizen Do you know of a tutorial or simple documentation on how to perform this for a hackage package?
Thinking about it more ...I don't think you need to go through all that trouble. Simply having a dist archive for a few different GHC versions as downloadable releases from Github on this project should be fine. Anything that makes a precompiled version available.
