I have two questions:

1. Could you please let me know how it should be shown in the language dropdown? Google translate gives me தமிழ் - is that okay? That's how it looks currently on the website:

2. Additionally, what is your date format?
   For example german and english:

    de: "%d.%m.%Y"
    en: "%Y-%m-%d"

2. (YYYY-MM-dd) is the preferred date format.

In India many companies use Kimai, I am sure some (or many) of them will use Tamil once it is merged. I was told that most users (from India) would prefer english, not only because of the many different languages you speak, but also because software in general often isn't localized properly. Is any of that true?

Are you using Kimai? Or why did you start translating everything?
And: are you available for some testing once I incorporate Tamil to Kimai itself? I would first add it to the demo, so you could test it out online.

Sure. At this point of time, I am not using Kimai.

Unfortunately, we are still slaves of English (even after independence from British). So English is preferred when the mother tongue language is not available. Indian States are formed based on languages of the region. We have about 1500+ Languages in India in total. But there are only 22 official languages, So many languages will die soon as there are no speakers/written scripts, etc. Tamil is one of the oldest languages in the world, but unfortunately it is not available by default in the digital world. So people like me are helping to bridge the gap. When you want to reach bigger audience, you need to make your software available in few major languages of India, example Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali.

When I am free, I contribute my time for Tamil translation. I started it a few years back. Then tried automating it. But Machine translation is not perfect all the time. So I do review each message (proofread based on context) and fix all the messages.

Yes, I will be available for testing. So please do let me know. I have created an account on the website as well for the same.

There are about 19 components in the Weblate. Please provide the order of priority for review. I am starting with "Main Application" for now.
