Cannot delete contact

HTC Magic, Android 1.6
A contact named " A1 HANDY KONFIG." is stored on the SIM with the number
08006641111.

When trying to delete it, the error message "Error during deletion of
contact on SIM" pops up. This problem persists also app-restarts.

Trying to delete this contact on the SIM with other sim-management application 
also
fails, so I'm tempted to blame this on an Android-internal bug.

Have the Huawei U8800 X5 & am trying to delete my SIM. I get the same message 
"Error during deletion of contact on SIM"

Thanks for writing & sharing this app but it is flawed, big time!
