Sound blip every 3ish minutes

After adding the screen dimming code the sound drops out for about a second every few minutes. I didn't notice this when the screen brightness was at 50. Some inaccurate numbers from running a timer and noting every time it blips over 16 minutes:

• 2:52
• 3:07
• 1:07
• 4:24
• 4:40

Logs show:
ALSA lib pcm.c:8526:(snd_pcm_recover) underrun occurred
ERROR: AudioOutput: write failed (Broken pipe)

Set the idle brightness to 50 just like the active and noticed blips at these times over 16 minutes:

• 3:38
• 6:55
• 2:46

Only one blip with a brightness of 80 over 16 minutes:

• 10:57

No blips with brightness of 1 and perfmax until the ~18 minute mark. I did plug in the power cable shortly before the blip, so not sure if that is the issue or not.
