I had no problem with a USB connected controller... Well, nothing with the controller itself... Routine severe desync after 3-4 minutes caused me to give up. I could never find the root cause. Don't expect help from the author - they have not responded at all to anyone in nearly two years, even to just leave a status report of why they abandoned things/what the known issues were when they abandoned it. I am wondering if they gave up for the same reason I did. Given their work with Cython, I wonder if they switched to using Cython to do a wrapper for Chiaki. Chiaki's development history videos highlight being able to use its libraries from code other than their app, but there isn't really much documentation on libchiaki. Edit: ohgod, libchiaki was clearly NOT intended to be used as a library by anything external. There's no differentiation whatsoever between what is a public and private API... |
